India Art Fair is the premier venue for exploring modern and contemporary South Asian art, making its return to Delhi from February 6 to 9, 2025.
2. Art Basel
Art Basel is a privately owned and operated international art fair that takes place each year in Basel, Miami Beach, Hong Kong, and Paris, with a focus on generating profit.
The Art Basel & UBS Survey of Global Collecting 2024 will be held in Basel from June 19 to 22, 2025; in Paris from October 24 to 26, 2025; and in Miami Beach from December 5 to 7, 2025.
3. TEFAF Maastricht

TEFAF Maastricht is celebrated as the leading fair for fine art, antiques, and design globally, uniting 7,000 years of artistic heritage in one location. With more than 260 esteemed dealers from around 20 different countries, it presents an exceptional array of art pieces available today. In addition to the classic sections featuring Old Master paintings, antiques, and classical antiquities that make up about half of the exhibition, visitors can also explore modern and contemporary art, photography, jewelry, 20th-century design, and works on paper.
4. Berlin Biennale
The 13th Berlin Biennale is set to run from June 14 to September 14, 2025, under the curation of Zasha Colah.
Since its inception in 1996, the Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art has established itself as a key international platform for contemporary art. Each edition showcases the most significant contemporary perspectives from artists, theorists, and practitioners across various disciplines in one of Europe’s most culturally vibrant cities.
Held every two years at different venues throughout Berlin, the Biennale is shaped by the unique visions of its esteemed curators. It encourages innovative formats and allows curators the freedom to showcase the most relevant and thought-provoking ideas, free from the constraints of the art market and collection priorities. Many emerging artists have gained international recognition through their participation in this exhibition.
5. The Armory Show and the Javits Center
SEPTEMBER 5–7, 2025 | JAVITS CENTER
The 1913 Armory Show, officially titled the International Exhibition of Modern Art, was put together by the Association of American Painters and Sculptors. This event marked the first significant showcase of modern art in the United States and was one of several exhibitions hosted in the expansive venues of U.S. National Guard armories.
6. Frieze

The Regent’s Park
Frieze London was established in 2003 by Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover. Currently, Eva Langret serves as the Director of Frieze London. This fair is recognized as one of the most significant contemporary art events globally, dedicated exclusively to contemporary art and living artists. It occurs every October in The Regent’s Park, right in the center of London. The 2024 edition will introduce an innovative new floorplan designed by A Studio Between. The updated layout and entrance will enhance the visibility of the fair’s curated sections, including Artist-to-Artist and this year’s new themed area, Smoke.
