My Figurative Paintings Using Mosaic Patterns – Giving a Different Meaning to Art

There’s something fascinating about the way small, broken pieces can come together to form something whole. That idea—of fragmentation leading to unity—has always inspired me. In my recent figurative paintings, I’ve been exploring this theme through the use of mosaic patterns, blending the human form with abstract, geometric compositions.

When I began painting figures in a mosaic-like style, it wasn’t just an aesthetic choice. I was searching for a way to express the complexity of human emotions and identities. Each fragment of color, each block of shape, represents a different layer of the self—memories, experiences, and feelings—that together construct the person we see.
